The hotel's location is excellent for exploring Epping Forest and South Woodford, but being in zone 4 may result in additional transportation costs. The rooms, although in need of updating, offered heating but were not properly cleaned. The dining experience was basic, and the service lacked enthusiasm. However, the beautiful suburb area of London adds charm to the location.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable, plus the buffet breakfast was better than expected, but they are starting to show signs of wear and tear. I used my 20,000 points to book for the following day, which was convenient.

There was a rude incident during dining that escalated, leading to police involvement and ultimately leaving the property without a refund.
